I’ve been working at Southview (www.southview.org) as Minister for Youth & Worship since April 1, 2007.
I was born and raised in Australia and moved to Rome, Italy at the age of 17. Committed and gave my life to the Lord in July 1992 at 21 years of age.I started leading youth church activities in 1993 in Rome, Italy. In that year I preached for the first time at a youth event and also led numerous outreach events within Italy.
Led my first worship team at West Dapto Neighbourhood Church back home in Australia in 2001. Since then, I’ve worked both in the US and Australia in the areas of worship, youth and young adults.
In Australia I worked as a youth & young adult leader at St George Community Church; as an Associate Pastor at Parkside Baptist Church; and as Associate Pastor at Helensburgh Baptist Church. I also also worked in an advisory role assisting Fairfield Council with Youth Affairs, helping initiate and run a program called Links to Learning, a program designed to help kids from dropping out of high school.
In 2006 I left Australia, co-leading with John Smulo, to form and plant LifeSong Church in Elk Grove, CA.
While in Elk Grove I worked as an assistant leader with Remedy (www.eremedy.org), a Young Adult Outreach Ministry sponsored through Youth for Christ (www.yfc.net).
I have a real heart for discipling, teaching and leading worship and have a keen interest in apologetics. I’m also a big fan of most competitive sports, but especially Soccer, Ice Hockey & Aussie Rules. I enjoy reading, music, movies, adding to my hockey card collection and commercial aviation photography. I’m married to Monica and we have three awesome girls, Isabella, Alexandra & Jessica.
